Ashley is sharing a few photos of a beautiful custom made 6″ brass square by Tony Rouleau of Hillview Wood & Metal, LLC.

Hey everyone, today’s blog post is a quick show and tell post. A few months ago, I ordered a custom brass square from Tony Rouleau of Hillview Wood & Metal, LLC. It’s a beautiful, well made and I love it so much that I wanted to share a few photos of it.

I ordered the 6″ Rouleau square with a burl inlay and my beaver logo. I opted for the Imperial version, but lately I have found myself wanting to shift more of my measurements over to metric.

The squares sold out pretty fast, but it looks like Tony will be accepting new orders in March 2020.

I know it’s silly, but I’m a little afraid to put it to use in the shop out of fear of damaging it.
Tony Rouleau is an amazing machinist. Here’s to hoping one day I can acquire his dovetail hand plane.
