I have not been in the mood for crocheting, but it was the eve of Christmas Day and I was in need of a gift, a handmade gift.
I wanted something that could be completed within a few hours. I searched the web and I came across this crochet pattern for an infinity scarf by Fiber Flux. I checked my stash for some super bulky yarn, I found my size N hook, I selected a movie and I was ready to get started.
The Tools and Supplies
The following is a list of the tools and supplies I gathered to make the scarf:
- Lion Brand Hometown USA (New Orleans French Berry) x2
- Size N Crochet Hook
- Yarn Needle
- Scissors
Crocheting the Scarf
The pattern was pretty easy to follow and I finished crocheting it just about when the ending credits for the movie started rolling.
The Finished Scarf
I normally would not go for pink, but the New Orleans French Berry is a really nice, vibrant color.
Here is a couple pictures testing out the finished work:
The scarf has a really nice texture, and I really like how the finished project turned out. I like it so much, that I am seriously considering making one just for myself.
